This reef is nearby at only 20 minutes from the launch site. For Sodwana Bay, 5 Mile Reef is a deep reef and more used by advanced divers. The reason to go here is because of its many fish and the diversity of coral types. Plate, table, staghorn and branching coral are just a few types which can be seen here. This reef is also famous for spotting dolphins from the boat, especially in the morning.
